Choose one of the pictures that follows to use as a basis for a narrative essay! Remember these things: A narrative essay tells a story. It is interesting to read. An essay is longer than a constructed response. For this narrative, I would like you to include the 5 W's as part of your organization. Be sure to engage the reader by establishing a context, a point of view, and introduce the character(s). Be sure to give plenty of details (but not too many!) (Include sensory details) Be sure the sequence of events is well structured and organized.  (Use transition words) A narrative can include dialogue Be sure your essay has a conclusion that follows and relates to the events in your story.
