Spectacular adj. Of the nature of a spectacle; sensational.
spectator n. Someone who views an event; an observer or onlooker.
spectacle n. A public performance or display. A marvel curiosity.
specimen n. A sample used for analysis.
inspector n. a person who inspects or examines.
6. speculate v. To think deeply on a given subject; ponder.
7. suspect v. To believe without being sure; imagine.
8. abrupt adj. Unexpected; sudden. Short and brief so as to suggest rudeness or displeasure.
9. eruption n. A sudden, often violent outburst.
10. rupture n. v. The act or process of breaking open or bursting. The rupture began at a weak seam. v. To break; burst. The old tank ruptured.
11. interruption v. The act of breaking in upon or stopping an action or process.
12. manuscript n. The handwritten or typed version of an article or a book.
13. transcribe v. To write or type a copy of; write out fully, as from shorthand notes.
14. inscription n. A message that is written, printed, carved, or engraved.
15. subscribe v. To agree to receive and pay for a member of issues of a publication, such as a magazine.
