Contrast Strong differences between elements within artwork (texture, color, shape, size etc)

Unity Feeling that everything is working together and looks finished. Usually achieved with a combination of elements and principles.

Materials available in class: Sticks Toothpicks Wire Aluminum Foil Masking tape Plaster wrap Acrylic paint

Material ideas to bring in Cheap glasses (dollar store?) you don’t mind breaking/altering etc. (you can easily make whatever shapes you want with wire, foil and tape!) Small objects that represent you Pictures and/or magazine cut outs of images you think represent you (possibly for a 3-D collage?)

You will be graded on: Use of 2-3 of the Principles of Design mentioned How well you express your idea visually Creativity of forms and structure Craftsmanship (neatness, usability & durability) Class participation (includes cleanup)
