Answer The Sun’s azimuth is the direction of the Sun in the sky. Azimuth is measured in degrees.it moves from the east, to the south, and then to the west before disappearing. At the beginning of the next day, it shows up in the east again.

Did you know…? The east to west daily motions of stars, planets, the Moon, and the Sun are caused by the rotation of the Earth on its axis.
