deny v. to state that (something declared or believed to be true) is not true.

quote v. to repeat (a passage, phrase, etc.) from a book, speech, or the like, as by way of authority, illustration.

theme n. an idea or point that is central to a story. Themes are implied rather than stated explicitly.

complaint n. an expression of discontent, regret, pain, or grief. faultfinding.

plead v. to use arguments or persuasions, as with a person, for or against something

oath n. to witness one's determination to speak the truth, to keep a promise.

keen adj. characterized by strength and distinctness of perception; extremely sensitive or responsive.

migrate v. to go from one country, region, or place to another.

twilight n. the period in the morning or, more commonly, in the evening during which light prevails.

thorough executed without negligence or omissions. complete; perfect; utter.
