Special Endings ísimo/a and ito/ita

Adding certain endings to adjectives makes quit a difference Adding certain endings to adjectives makes quit a difference. When adding the endings like ísimo/a it adds “very,” “most” or “extremely”. The ending – ísimo can be added to an adjective in Spanish. Adjectives that end in a vowel, ísimo would replace the final vowel. For example if you use the adjective grande (meaning: big) and you wanted to describe how big the bear is then you would put ísimo on grande.
