DUAL CONVERTER WITH POWER TRANSISTOR AND SPEED CONTROL FOR DC MOTOR Prepared by Amena Ateeli & Bara`ya`qoub Supervisor Dr. JAMAL KHAROUSHA A PROJECT INTRODUCTION REPORT IN IELECTRICAL ENGINEERING An-najah National University Nablus-Palestine 2010

PROJECT OBJECTIVES Operation the machine in four quadrants. Closed loop speed control of separately dc machine. Speed control with tachogenerator and cascade current control. On the other hand, the project will study how it can be interface the converter with PIC Controller, and the electronic circuits for this aim, also the software to generate the pulses.

PROJECT IMPORTANCE Saving electrical energy by regenerative the energy to the network when the machine operation in generating mode. Ability operation the machine in different modes which get flexibility to the system.
