Acts 2 verses 41-47 41 Those who accepted his message were baptised, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. 42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 

Acts 2 verses 41-47 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.  44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.  45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 

Acts 2 verses 41-47 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,  47 praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue.  11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. 

1 Corinthians 14 verse 29 29 Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 

2 Corinthians 12 verse 12 12 I persevered in demonstrating among you the marks of a true apostle, including signs, wonders and miracles. 

1 Thessalonians 2 verses 6 - 8 6 We were not looking for praise from people, not from you or anyone else, even though as apostles of Christ we could have asserted our authority.  7 Instead, we were like young children among you. Just as a nursing mother cares for her children,  8 so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.
