INTO FELLOWSHIP

Acts 2 verses 41-47 41 Those who accepted his message were baptised, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. 42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Acts 2 verses 41-47 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.  44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.  45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.

Acts 2 verses 41-47 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,  47 praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

INTO FELLOWSHIP

Acts 2 verse 42 42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

1 John 1 verses 1-7 1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.  2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.

1 John 1 verses 1-7 3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.  4 We write this to make our joy complete. 5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

1 John 1 verses 1-7 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.  7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

2 Corinthians 13 verse 14 14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

2 Peter 1 verses 3-4 3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.  4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

Romans 15 verse 26 26 For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the Lord’s people in Jerusalem.

Philippians 1 verse 5 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,

Ephesians 3 verse 9 9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.

Philippians 2 verses 1-11 1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,  2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.

Philippians 2 verses 1-11 3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,  4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.  5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Philippians 2 verses 1-11 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;  7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

Philippians 2 verses 1- 11 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!  9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,  10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

Philippians 2 verses 1- 11 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

2 Corinthians 6 verse 14 14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
