Sewing Project Requiremnts Unit 3: Basic Sewing Applications Students will work on individual, teacher approved, sewing projects at all times.

Project 1: Repair Samples Storage pouch project or Bring items from home Skills: Hand back stitch or seam repair Hand stitched hem Buttons

Project 2 Pajama pants Required pattern available through teacher at discounted cost…$1 Materials and supplies to be determined by student in class Materials and notions to be supplied by student by deadline TBA Skills Pattern layout, cutting, seams, casing, machine hem, reading & following a pattern, time management

Time Permitting Project 3 Project 3: Student choice with teacher approval Requirements: commercial pattern or approved written instructions w/details PROJECT PROPOSAL FORM Materials and supplies to be determined by student in class Materials, patterns and notions to be supplied by student (Must have at least two NEW techniques from the class list)
