How to Guide: Find Employers Using America’s Career InfoNet Use this guide to learn how to find employers who typically hire people in your occupation. Start from the home page of America’s Career InfoNet at http://www.acinet.org Select “Employer Locator” under Career Tools. How to Guide: Find Employers You will be able to do a search by Industry, by Occupation, or by Employer Name. We will do a search by Occupation for employers of computer support specialists. 12/6/2018

Then scroll through the areas of your state. (If your community is not a part of one of the large metropolitan statistical areas, choose Balance of State-BOS-to get an alphabetical listing of remaining communities.) How to Guide: Find Employers You will be asked to scroll through a list of cities and towns from the geographic area you chose, and pick up to five communities from the list. Highlight those of interest to you.
