What is MyFutureHawaii? MyFutureHawaii is a college & career planning website You will build your resume Take Interests, Values, Learning Style & Personality inventories. Why do you think knowing these traits about yourself is important when thinking about your future Career? Complete learning modules about life in high school, college and careers. Complete a college & career search and add to your college & career lists. Why is it important to start thinking about what college you want to go to?

Create your MFH account Go to myfuturehawaii.org Click Sign Up, in the top right hand corner Select I want to register as a MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT Type your schools name Your claim code is your 10 digit student ID number (the one you use for testing) then enter your birthday Enter your first and last name & email address Create username: This account will follow you to high school so use your first name initial, last name then graduation year. Example: jdoe2022 Create Password you will remember next year when you get to High School!!! (Like your 10 digit student ID # we used as your claim code)

Portfolio & Resume Builder Once you are logged into your MFH account, click portfolio. This is the main holding place for everything you do on MyFutureHawaii Click Edit Portfolio Under the Achievements & Activities tabs click Add New. Then enter any activities and achievements you have accomplished or participated in If you have had a job, enter it under the employment tab Then click the Resume tab to view your personal resume!

What Makes you Special? Learn About Yourself Assessments Go back to your portfolio and click on the What Makes You Special box Read and complete each page of the module It will guide you to take and complete the 4 Interest Inventories: Interests, Values, Learning Styles and Personality

What Are Your Dreams? College Search Go back to your portfolio and click on the What Are Your Dreams box Read and complete each page of the module, where you will learn about life in and after high school It will guide you to a College search. Add at least 3 schools to your college list by clicking the icon under the actions column

What Are Your Dreams? Career Search Read and follow the module to learn about different career paths and clusters It will guide you to a Career search. On the filter to the left click the icon next to Select Interest, Values and Skills. This will bring up careers that are a good match for you based on your Interest Inventory results Add at least 5 Careers to your Career List by clicking the icon under the actions column
