Warm-up October 26, 2017 Factor: 66B + 12A – 14 Evaluate when K = -7 and T = 4 12K + 7 –8T – 13 + 9T – 6K Simplify: 6 ( 4R – 8 ) – ( -3R + 16 )

Ratios and Proportional Relationships Ratio- A comparison of two quantities. Rate– A ratio comparing two different units. Unit rate– A rate with a denominator of 1. Equivalent ratios - Fractions that are equal in value, but may have different numerators and denominators. Proportion- A statement that two ratios are equal. Direct Proportion:  The relation between two quantities whose ratio remains constant. The graph is a straight line that passes through the origin.
