How, if at all, did change the way you think about teaching and learning with games and simulations? With the campus buzz about Liberal Education and LEAP's discussion of bringing education to the students level and to engage them through life-long-learning techniques I thought some of the games really do a good job of carrying this out. How, if at all, did change the way you think about teaching and learning with games and simulations? I like the fact that simulations can provide experiences that parallel real-world decisions and consequences. I started to think more flexibly about ways to do community building online that can transfer to the classroom. Feedback
How, if at all, did change the way you think about teaching and learning with games and simulations? Being able to see the success stories was inspiring and I was particularly interested in how teams solved problems along the way. Helped me get a glimpse into how real games people think about this stuff. Feedback
How, if at all, did change the way you think about teaching and learning with games and simulations? I was happy to know that many researchers view video games seriously and try to incorporate games and simulations into teaching and learning. Its nice to know that video games are not just for recreation. Feedback
How, if at all, did change the way you think about teaching and learning with games and simulations? I really like the direction on incorporating technology into future learning. It is exciting how innovative teaching and learning may become. It helped me think a lot about how games and simulations need to incorporate real game-like features to make them more interesting to users. Feedback
How, if at all, did change the way you think about teaching and learning with games and simulations? I appreciate so much--it's not just the great demos and the great talks, it's the people who come to it. I ended up having several stimulating conversations that will have future effects on my work. This is a really efficient, stimulating, encouraging and positive professional development opportunity! Feedback
