Fundamental Movements Are movement patterns that involve different body parts and include skills like running, hopping, catching and etc.

3 Types Locomotor Non-Locomotor Manipulative

Locomotor Skills Motor skills where the body moves from one place to another.

Locomotor Examples Walking Running Hopping Jumping Skipping Galloping

Non-Locomotor Skills Where your body parts are moving but you are in one spot not going anywhere.

Non-Locomotor Examples Stretching Bending Twisting Turning

Manipulative Skills Motor skills involving an object.
