Context Ecclesiastes was Written by Solomon in his old age. Solomon wrote The Book of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and also wrote Song of Solomon. Vanity of vanities, all is vanity(Title/Doctrine). In Ecclesiastes we can learn that without Christ we cannot be satisfied.

V1. The Instruction with a Promise Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; #1. Instruction 3. A Season #2. Characteristic 4. The Promise

2 Timothy 2 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Lack of Passion for the Lost Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets: 1. V6. The Lack of Fruit a. Or ever the silver cord be loosed,= Dorsal Spine b. or the golden bowl be broken,= Membranes of the brain c. or the pitcher be broken at the fountain,= Having Babies d. or the wheel broken at the cistern.= Arteries and Heart

( separation / mortification= Holiness ) Romans 6 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. #1.The Fruit start with US ( separation / mortification= Holiness )

V7-8. Physical and Spiritual Death 7.Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. 8.Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.

Ecclesiastes 12 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
