George Westinghouse Invented the transformer, which made electricity practical. G.E. and Westinghouse electric companies. Electricity changed daily life for everyone!

Samuel Morse Invented the telegraph, which was the start of the communication revolution.

Alexander Graham Bell Invented the telephone in 1871. By 1900, 1.5 million telephones were in use.

Steel Steel was developed, making things like the Brooklyn Bridge possible.
