Greek Gods Meet the Olympians

Zeus King of the Olympians and God of the Heavens (Sky) Symbol is a lightening bolt. and the eagle Zeus had many children, both mortal and immortal, one of the most famous is Hercules

Hera Queen of the Olympians and Goddess of Marriage, Women and Motherhood Symbols the peacock Zeus’ sister and 1st wife

Poseidon God of the Water or the Seas Symbol is the trident (three pronged spear) Controlled the oceans.

Demeter Goddess of Fertility and agriculture. Symbols include corn, wheat, and the torch. Controls the seasons

Hestia Goddess of the Hearth and Home She basically protected the home and family Her symbol is Fire

Aphrodite Goddess of Love and Beauty Married to the God Hephaestus (but she was not really interested in him Symbols include the dove, sparrow, and swan.
