“Don’t dream it, be it!” The Rocky Horror show originated as a stage musical in London. Tim Curry was originally cast as Frank-N-Furter in the stage production. It had a small following in London so Twentieth Century Fox had it made into a motion picture. It was first released in 1975 with many characters reprising their stage roles. Richard O’Brian (Riff Raff), wrote the musical and later the movie. Now Rocky Horror is the biggest cult movie of all time.
