Why do we focus on Inclusion? The usual participants in Erasmus+ are: White, middle class, well-off, Colgate-smile bright university students from the capital/cities The Erasmus+ programme wants to include all! E.g. different backgrounds, abilities, schooling,… from different parts of the country

17 NAs/SALTO reach out to 3 groups Organisations working with: disability and health issues (8) (FR, DE, IS, LV, EE, HU, PL, SALTO SEE) young people in NEET situation (8) (EE, LV, LT, AT, UK, CZ, RO, PT, IT) Disadvantaged (rural) areas (5) (SI, EE, RO, PT, IE)

A step-by-step approach Mapping who works with the target group & needs analysis (where is the potential) Motivating & capacity building (how Erasmus+ can reach your objectives) Partnership building & networking (find partners for international projects) Support for international mobility (leading to successful applications) Mapping  resources & tools or creating new ones Monitoring impact & documenting the tested approaches

Results so far (June 2018) Outreach 2237 NEW inclusion organisations contacted Response rate 625 of those org (=28%)  responded positively/ showed interest National SPI activity 641 inclusion workers of those 'interested organisations' (=103% participation rate)   international SPI activity 208 inclusion workers of those 'interested organisations' (=33% participation rate) 45 Erasmus+ projects (more at October deadline) including 654 young people with fewer opportunities
