Leadership Reflection 2 Specific reflection on how life events, activities have shaped you interpersonally is integral to your personal growth

Growing Up Playing Sports Started playing soccer when I was 3 and continued to play sports all the way through high school Started football in the 4th grade and that’s when I learned to respect authority Since I went to a private Christian school, all of my coaches were extraordinary men of faith Taught me that integrity and giving glory to the Lord is more important than winning

Becoming a Man of Christ My father has never been much of a leader, role model, or much of a father in general and is not a Christian My older brother along with other great men (some of my football coaches) lead me and continue to lead me well to become a man of Christ I see men of Christ as being excellent leaders toward the faith, good role models, and great lovers of all As the years have past, I have seen what God has done in my life by providing these excellent followers of Christ I am continually striving to become the best follower of Christ and maybe someday I can lead the same way these men have for me

What I Have Learned God has put people in my life over me that I need to respect because they most likely have more experience and God has put them there for a reason God will always provide I need to strive to become more Christ-like throughout my whole life God has called us to a personal relationship with Him and to help lead others to Him as well I see this as the best leadership out their I must continue to grow not only in Him but as a leader to help bring more of His children to a personal relationship with Him
