Before the defence of the thesis, the university forwards the thesis in the electronic form to the central repository The thesis undergoes the originality check The thesis and the relevant metadata are kept in the central repository for a period of 70 years from the date of registration PILLARS

THE UNIQUENESS

THE UNIQUENESS CRTD + PDS is obligatory for all universities operating under the Slovak legal order (35 of 39) To date, we have no information about a similar model in real operation

THE UNIQUENESS The closest follower: CZ - 74 HEI; the theses of 46% HEI are in the only repository that undergo the originality check by the only PDS Next follower: PL - 458 HEI; the theses of 14% HEI are in the only repository; 33% HEI are using PDS

THE UNIQUENESS The implementation of the PDS and the CRTD on a national level into everyday practice is very likely a unique solution in Europe and perhaps in the world

TWO YEARS AFTER

TWO YEARS AFTER Creation of the national theses repository Building a barrier to thriving plagiarism, breakthrough in the fight against plagiarism in our country Copyright & IPR protection The quality of theses by their originality check
