DBQs

Hook (10-15 min) Answer the questions WITHOUT ANY HELP! (5 min) With a partner or group of three [at discretion of the teacher] share your answers and thoughts on the questions. (5 min) As a class share a few responses to each question. (5 min)

Background Essay (20 min) The Teacher will assign groups of two or three and give each group a paragraph or picture to analyze. In your groups read the paragraph assigned to your group and look for key words, dates, and people. (10 min) Each group will read their paragraph or explain their picture, and give the important information. (10 min)
