CFSR Round 3 Highlights CFSR Round 2: Texas successfully completed all aspects of its Program Improvement Plan and there was no financial penalty. Lessons learned from CFSR 2 have been incorporated into CPS practices CFSR Round 3: will be completed in 2016 using the revised federal CFSR Onsite Review Instrument (OSRI)

CFSR Round 3 Review Own State Review vs Traditional 3 site review: Texas option is Own State Review 7 new quantitative data indicators: 2 new safety indicators: recurrence of maltreatment and maltreatment in foster care. 5 new permanency indicators: 3 time to permanency (12; 12-23; 24+); re-entry to FC in 12 months; placement stability. Texas CPS is meeting 6 of the 7 indicators per most recent data. Published in October 10, 2014 Federal Register: https://federalregister.gov/a/2014-09001
