3 Engagement Begins when Tribe contacts Center
Coordination Specialist then contacts requester and begins discussion around request Later, the Coordination Specialist arranges NAFET 1 telephone call Prairie Band Potawatomi request: The Tribe recently was awarded a IV-E Development grant. As they assess their programs for IV-E compliance, the Tribe has identified two areas that they would like assessed for TA. Those are foster care recruitment and data collection.

5 Work Planning Begins with a Pathway to Change which informs the work plan.

6 Pathway to Change What We Do
Develop policy and procedure to infuse trauma informed principles, Title IV-E and human trafficking components leading to development of practice model Provide practice model implementation support. Provide education to ensure clarity around the model of practice. Work Plan NRCDR develops PBPN foster care licensing standards Documentation developed to provide rules, regulations, and guidance to PBPN staff on child welfare service provision PBPN Child Welfare system assessed to ascertain if gaps in service provision exist Develop knowledge and skills of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation (PBPN) Social Services (SS) staff to provide child and family services in accordance with the PBPN trauma-informed practice approach

7 Project Implementation
Begin implementing the activities in the work plan For the Prairie Band Potawatomi… Project implementation began with the work of the NRCDR Once DR completed their work a consultant was assigned to develop or revise policy and procedure A decision was made to conduct TCWPM after discussions with the Regional Specialist Next step will be to finish up the mapping work and begin the trauma work
