Program Goals have fun learn the game become great team members--learning to put something before yourself Prioritize: God, Family, academic, soccer, other (job, girl friend, friends, etc) We want to be as competitive as possible while we work with the athletes to improve them as soccer players and members of our learning community. Our motto: be resilient, play tenacious defense and play till the whistle blows.

Also please communicate both positive and negatives with the coaching staff. We want to work together to give every member of our program the best experience and memories we can.

Sportsmanship, leadership and honor Sportsmanship--Believe in your son, his team and north high--we believe in them. Work with us to build a positive uplifting athletic experience. Leadership--we expect the boys to be leaders on the field and in the halls, on time to class, practice, games, meetings; make eye contact and to be actively involved--motto: do more than show up. (Guest Speaker: Aaron Davis 9/2/08, Event Staff, Faculty Fan project) Honor code: pledge to be drug, alcohol and tobacco free--if break contract 2 week suspension--2nd chance policy

Equipment and Fees New gear and consumables: Program bags, varsity warm ups, all uniforms are now a minimum of 3 years old and we have established a time line to replace them. The boys will be given 2 or 3 pairs of socks, and 2 or 3 practice t-shirts. (the socks and t-shirts are theirs to keep) The cost per player is $35. In addition 2 of our nets were cut with the lawn mower and needed replacing, two game goals for the upper field were broken and replaced with 3 corver practice goals for optimal training in our limited space.

Events and Fundraisers Would anyone be interested in heading up one of the projects? Entertainment books<my apologies'> Mouse race /trivia night Viking club seats Applebees’ fund raiser (boys serve breakfast cost approx $3 per, charge $10 per ticket: great way to get to know each other. Finally in the past we have talked about a Chili cook off tailgate at a home football game. Events: pasta nights<varsity only> Faculty fan shirts student event staff play for pink week in October
