Rules and Procedures Be present and prepared everyday! Be respectful to everyone in the room. Complete assignments and turn them in on time. Let me know if something confuses you. You are your biggest advocate! Don’t say, “I don’t GIT it”. Be specific.

Homework Homework is assigned Monday-Thursday nights. Check the website. Studying IS HOMEWORK most Thursdays!! No Homework on Fridays!! Official homework policy is no late work, but… Student graded, some completion and some for accuracy. Try! Try! Try! I can’t help you if you I don’t know where you are struggling. Use your notes!

You have arrived!! Please check your child’s math page for weekly plans and assignments. This is also posted in the room and students are required to copy it down in their planners on Monday, but, just in case…

Grading Categories and Weights Tests (50%) These are not open notes. Students should study. There will always be a review day prior to a test. Retests will only be given when scores are below 60%. Quizzes (25%) These are not always announced and are open notes. They are meant to be a checkpoint. There is usually a quiz each module. Classwork/Homework (25%) Homework is student checked. Graded for completion or accuracy. No late HW accepted.

Go Math Textbook and Curriculum Textbooks are housed in the classroom. Pages are torn out a Unit at a time. At the end of the unit, clear your binder, but keep the pages for midterm and finals studying. Textbook is accessible online.
