Mog is forgetful. Mog has a cat flap. Mog doesn’t use her cat flap. The story starts: ‘Once Mog had a very bad day.’ Mog upsets everyone and runs out into the garden at night. The main problem: ‘Mog was very sad.’ Subsidiary problem: There is a burglar in the kitchen. Resolution: Without meaning to, Mog scares the burglar, who wakes everyone. Ending: The police come and everyone is pleased with Mog. Beginning: Mog lives with a family in a house.
