Making a Pyramid Booklet By Ms. Andrea Wright Marshall Middle School San Diego, CA

Start with the construction paper.

Fold in half.

Place so the “mouth” is pointing north.

Mark the center of the page.

Draw a diagonal line from the center point to the lower right corner.

Draw a diagonal line to the lower left corner.

Make sure the base of the triangle is longer than the equal sides.

Cut the triangle out, leaving the fold at the bottom untouched.

The booklet cover should then open from the top.

Take two sheets of paper (8 ½ x 11”).

Line them up, then fold both in half at the same time.

Place the “mouths” facing north.

Mark the center of the notepaper.

Draw the diagonal lines.

Cut the smaller triangles out, keeping the two sheets of paper together.

Tuck the notepaper into the cover, making sure it fits.

Separate the note pages in order to tape them inside the cover.

Place the first note page inside and apply tape at the bottom.

Add a second piece of tape.

Place second note page on top of the first and tape again.

Close booklet and decorate it .
