Use in the Classroom Most programs are electronic and/or interactive Throw it up on the board… Add a few widgets to make it interactive… Add in media clips and animation to hook and hold their attention… And voila! An 80-90% engaged classroom of 26+ students! Add some hand held devices for 100% engagement and instant corrective feed back!

While students are watching… The interactive whiteboard of you or it appearing to teach the lesson by itself you can be: Circulating Checking and Correcting Catching students up Working with a small group where audio/visual is not enough

How do you do this? Promethean has a built in feature that you can “record” yourself teaching the lesson. You can go to http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/ and get a free account and do up to 15 minute videos (you can do a pic in screen of yourself teaching if you have webcam but I’ve only done the screen record mode.)
