The Centre of Excellence in the Humanities (2010-2018) Faculties of History, Classical and Modern Languages, Journalism, Geography, Law; 6 research programmes; Technological Ecosystems in the Humanities; Cross-disciplinary approaches; Researchers with diverse background – Dimitar Birov, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics; Maria Baramova, Grigor Boykov Faculty of History; Dimitar Iliev, Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology, Dobromir Dobrev, Center of Excellence in Humanities. On project basis, this group works with historians, philologists – both classical and Slavic, archaeologists, geographers and other researchers in fields such as GIS, epigraphy, software engineering, computer linguistics etc.
