PLTW Partnership Teams William White VP of Engagement, Midwest Region

What is a Partnership Team? Link that connects PLTW to the community the local economy, and local industry needs Group of collaborative stakeholders that provides leadership and action to support and enhance exceptional STEM student learning experiences

What does the Partnership Team do? Develops and implements a strategic plan Advocates for the program Provides resources for the classrooms Hosts meetings and events Activates the community

Why do we need a Partnership Team? To create an outstanding program that influences the entire school district instead of being a program that just affects a small number of students To ensure that our students are prepared for the global economy

Who should be on the Partnership Team? Business and industry professionals, college and university representatives, district-level decision makers, teachers, administrators, parents, students, and alumni Seven to fifteen members: Chairperson School Liaison Executive Committee Members General Members

If A = 1, B =2, C =3, etc… KNOWLEDGE = 96% HARDWORK = 98 % Both are important and a part of PLTW BUT WITH A PARTNERSHIP TEAM WE GET: ATTITUDE = 100%
