Inform the community of the importance of language study by:
Hosting events featuring aspects of language study
Writing letters to newspaper editor on a variety of topics relating to language study

5. What teachers can do to advocate for language programs
Inform the community of the importance of language study by:
Creating/obtaining attractive posters and hanging them in strategic locations in the classroom, school, and community

6. What teachers can do to advocate for language programs
Connect to other disciplines through the language—use the target language to study subjects taught in other disciplines. Assist teachers in other subjects by reinforcing learning in the target language.
