Figure 1 a, local recurrence-free survival by surgical margin. b, local recurrence-free survival by R.E.N.A.L. nephrometry score. c, local recurrence-free survival by number of resected tumors. d, local recurrence-free survival by pT stage. e, local recurrence-free survival by solitary kidney status. Figure 2 a, preoperative imaging shows 6 × 4.6 cm heterogeneously enhancing, hypervascular mass arising from posterior cortex of left kidney upper pole with renal sinus extension in patient with history of right nephrectomy. Left open PN was performed. Pathology demonstrated Fuhrman 2 clear cell RCC. Tumor extended focally to parenchymal resection margin and invaded renal sinus vessels. b, tumor bed recurrence was detected 9 months after surgery. c, computerized tomography guided radiofrequency ablation was done as salvage.
