Ict integration in class: learning tool Learners in my classroom created the following about the Kingdom of Mapungubwe (Lesson topic) They used OneNote as a learning tool to gather and share facts and information about Mapungubwe. They developed data collection tool, thus drawing up a questionnaire to gather facts about Mapungubwe as first Southern African Kingdom. They compiled their report adding pictures, text, audios and clips to spice up their findings as well to make sure they give a variety of learning opportunities. The learners presented their facts in class, working as groups and individually. The learners created their Mind maps Written Essay ( short paragraphs essay) MIE EXPERT - AMANDLA VINJWA 2018/11/13

Communication of findings Subject content: The first kingdom of Southern Africa: Mapungubwe - Meaning of the concept Mapungubwe as a place of Jackals- the origination of that concept - When did this Kingdom existed: between 1000AD and 1300 AD - Hierarchical structure of the Mapungubwe society Contextual meaning, thus at Mapungubwe society, some people were more important than others. - Economic activities- from Farming activities to International trade where Gold was a product available in abundance during that time. - The collapse of such Kingdom and the dawn of new kingdom The Kingdom of the Great Zimbabwe MIE EXPERT - AMANDLA VINJWA 2018/11/13
