Lunenber Canada

Lunenburg is a small port town in the county of Lunenburg in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada, 90 km away from Halifax, on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. In the year 2011 had 2,313 inhabitants, still this number grows notably during the summer period because of the great tourist claim that the city exerts. Lunenburg was founded in 1753 and was named in honor of the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, George II, who was also Duke of Brunswick-Lünenburg. Nowadays it is an important port and a center of the naval construction, the city houses numerous small industries in the sector of the high technology and the commerce.
