what is the exchange? 1. Positive Effects: Exchange of plants, animals, & wealth across Europe & the Americas. 2. A direct result from colonization and technology. 3. Negative effects: Forced labor, disease, population decline, and starvation.

New Lives-Native Americans Queen Isabella (Spain) declared Native Americans as her “subjects.” They used these individuals to produce labor. Catholic monks converted thousands of Native Americans with production of parishes, schools, hospitals in New World.
