MINNESOTA INNOVATION INSTITUTE HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTER Known as MI 2 Began in 2013.

Peter Aube “Closing the skills gap to remain competitive is one of the biggest challenges facing manufacturers today. Old methods of recruiting and on-the-job training are difficult, time consuming and costly. There is a better way” Plant Manager Potlatch Corp. Pete is one of the industry champions who said, there has to be a better way; we need help and we have to be part of the solution.

Private led Private Driven Formed by private industry with local economic development (GREATER BEMIDJI) agency to address: Need for time sensitive, flexible and cost effective educational programs (just enough, just in time) Stream line the workforce pipelines to get more people involved in working, preparing for work, going to work, staying at work Continually add value with industry partners MI2 has over thirty industry partners throughout Minnesota, and that number is growing each year. Our partners provide leadership direction and guide future program development.
