Nutrition Review Assignment Use the sample daily diet of a 16-year-old male as outlined in the Gateway Biology Review packet (page 9). Calculate the percentage of Calories due to carbohydrates, fats, and proteins in the diet outlined. In a well-developed paragraph, analyze and evaluate the diet shown in terms of USDA recommendations: Active teen males should consume approximately 2800 Calories per day No more than 93 Calories from fat is recommended per day In your evaluation, be sure to include: The total Calories ingested The percentage of Calories contributed by each of the nutrients (carbohydrates, fats, and proteins) Comparison to the USDA recommendations for a 16-year-old male Food choice recommendations to improve the diet
