#SafeDriver ROAD SAFETY, A MAJOR PRIORITY FOR TOTAL “I Fasten MY seat belt before starting and I DON’T USE My phone ANYMORE” Awareness Meetings, 2017

ROAD SAFETY, A MAJOR PRIORITY Road safety is a major priority for Total, which aims to be recognized as a benchmark for HSE. Road accidents remain a leading cause of serious accidents at Total. All accidents can be prevented, especially through shared vigilance. #SafeDriver, an awareness campaign focusing on six topics identified by analyzing accidents over the past few years. Total and Roads, Each Year 700 million* kilometers covered 50 million tons* of goods transported 1.4 million passengers carried * By Total and the contractor fleet #SafeDriver - Awareness Meetings - “I fasten my seat belt before starting and I don’t use my phone anymore” – 2017

Commitment No. 2: “I FASTEN MY SEAT BELT before starting and I DON’T USE My phone ANYMORE” #SafeDriver - Awareness Meetings - “I fasten my seat belt before starting and I don’t use my phone anymore” – 2017

Why you should fasten your seat belt and not use your phone Wearing a seat belt reduces the risk of a fatal accident by 50% Simple act for drivers and passengers Talking on the phone while driving quadruples the risk of an accident and texting makes a crash 23 times more likely Total strictly prohibits the following while driving: Using a cell phone, even a hands-free one, or any other personal electronic device.   Fiddling with or setting a GPS. Telephone Distractors #SafeDriver - Awareness Meetings - “I fasten my seat belt before starting and I don’t use my phone anymore” – 2017

Plus… Adjusting the driving position: Improves response time and effectiveness: The driver’s seat should not be inclined back. The driver’s seat must be adjusted so that the driver’s knee is always bent when he or she has a foot on the brake pedal. Reduces the consequences of an accident. Get your employer's permission if you want to bring passengers with you on business trips. Only crew members are authorized on trucks. An appropriate driving position prevents four out of five collisions Driving position #SafeDriver - Awareness Meetings - “I fasten my seat belt before starting and I don’t use my phone anymore” – 2017
