Marie Curie Development Host Fellowships Specifically designed cohesion measure To develop new competencies in established institutions in Less Favoured Regions Awarded to universities and research centres Commission selects hosts Hosts select the “young” researchers with doctoral degree or  4 years post-graduate research duration 12 to 24 months selection to be confirmed by the Commission 11/11/2018 - 7

Stays at Marie Curie Training Sites Mobility initiative to make most effective use of FP5 resources available for supporting doctoral students supports short stays outside their country of studies as integral part of their doctoral studies at “training sites” in universities and research centres for 3 months to one academic year Commission selects hosts organisers of international doctoral studies also eligible (minimum 5 organisations in 3 countries) Hosts select the doctoral students selection to be confirmed by the Commission 11/11/2018 - 8

Enhancing access to research infrastructures objectives To promote the optimal use of Europe’s major research infrastructures in all fields of scientific research by sponsoring new opportunities for transnational access to infrastructures by stimulating infrastructure operators and users to work together to make the most effective use of their infrastructures for infrastructures where such measures are not taken by the thematic programmes To coordinate and support related activities throughout the Framework Programme thematic programmes: proactive top-down approach Human Potential programme: responsive bottom-up approach 11/11/2018 - 9

Large Conferences traditional conference or series of events financing of young researchers’ participation (100%) only max. 20.000 euro per event and max. 10.000 euro per contract. B. Eurotron Conferences (Electronic EuroConferences) as normal EuroConference, but: meeting in cyber-space series of events encouraged financing of organisation cost b. PhD Conferences as normal EuroConference, but: all participants (incl. organisers) are young researchers financing of key note speakers (50%) and organisation cost 11/11/2018 - 14
