CFO Scholarships CFO administers 424 scholarships CFO service area is southern Missouri outside of St. Louis & Kansas City Scholarship funds are created by individuals, families & companies Donors determine the size and criteria for the scholarship Amount of scholarships range from $400 to $6,000 Scholarships support: High School Seniors, Current College Students, Medical Students, Nursing Students, Dentistry Students, Law Students 19 scholarships are opened to our entire service area Academic year 2018–19: Scholarships totaled $1.4M, touching 903 students November 10, 2018 MASFAP Conference I Keeping it REAL

CFO Managed Funds Distributed for Education Over $600,000 disbursed for educational scholarship purposes for FY 2018 from private foundations and scholarships managed by CFO. These funds established by schools, organizations and private donors who choose to manage the disbursement process outside of CFO’s scholarship area. CFO disburses these funds to the institution or organization for review and distribution under individual criteria established and managed by the donor or third party assigned. KC Scholars – Three Components 1. Traditional scholarship (at least 250 new recipients per year) 11th grade application; 12th grade preparation support Up to $10K per year for up to five years (after 12th grade) 2. Adult learner scholarship (up to 200 new recipients per year) Age 24+ with at least 12 earned college credits Up to $5K per year for up to five years (once admitted) 3. The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis The Foundation sees higher education as a catalyst, an agent of change for individuals, families, communities, and nations. We envision a community that recognizes the importance of educational attainment and assures positive educational outcomes are accessible to all regardless of economic circumstance. In our community, doors will not be closed to those who lack financial resources, and postsecondary education will be available to all with the potential to succeed. To build this community, The Scholarship Foundation will: Promote and provide financial support for postsecondary education; Assure that students have the information necessary to make sound financial decisions; Lead a collaborative network of community and educational partners aligned to support student preparation, transition, and persistence to degree completion.
