History *He was born prematurely on Christmas Day 1642. Sir Isaac Newton was an English Mathematician , Physicist, Astronomer Alchemist, and Natural Philosopher. He wrote the Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, which basically describes Universal Gravitation and the Three Laws of Motion.

Biography “Newton, Sir Isaac (1642-1727), English natural philosopher, generally regarded as the most original and influential theorist in the history of science. In addition to his invention of the infinitesimal calculus and a new theory of light and color, Newton transformed the structure of physical science with his three laws of motion and the law of universal gravitation”

Contribution to Science The main thing people probably know from Newton’s Contributions is the Three Laws of Motion. Which was sparked by the apple falling on top of his head.

Why he’s important Isaac Newton is Important for many things. As stated before in this power point, I do believe his main reason behind his importance is the laws of Motion.

How it affects us today I think that the Three Laws of Motion are Crucial to Science in well, general. Its always been covered in the science classes I’ve had, at least. Not exactly sure HOW it would help/affect us now a days, but I’m sure it helps people out there. Somehow.
