Student Design Competition ASHRAE sponsors this annual competition to give students practical HVAC experience. The competition guidelines enable teams to: Design or select the HVAC system for the given building Or to design a sustainable building implementing an integrated building design process (architectural and building design for sustainability, and its supporting mechanical and electrical systems) Teams may compete in one of the three categories: HVAC System Design HVAC System Selection Integrated Sustainable Building Design (ISBD) Applied Engineering Challenge Prizes available: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Rising Star

Undergraduate Program Equipment Grant The ASHRAE Undergraduate Program Equipment Grant provides grants to engineering, technical and architectural schools worldwide with the goal of increasing student knowledge, learning and awareness of the HVAC&R industry through the design and construction of senior projects.
