VetSuccess on Campus Provides services to all student Veterans, active duty, and Veterans’ dependents: Help with VA benefits Vocational Rehabilitation Career counseling and academic planning Transition support services and readjustment counseling
VetSuccess on Campus VSOC services continued: Employment services and job placement assistance Assisting with VA healthcare services Updated information on VA changes and policies
Educational and Vocational Counseling Services Include: Career Choice Benefits Coaching Personalized Support
Educational and Vocational Counseling Eligibility Requirements: Transitioning Service-members (6 months pre-discharge or within 12 months post-discharge) Any Service-member or Veteran currently eligible for a VA education benefit All current VA education beneficiaries
Educational and Vocational Counseling Apply: On-line at www.Vets.gov Complete VAF 28-8832 and return it to VR&E or VetSuccess on Campus
VetCenter Services Include: Individual and group counseling for Veterans, Service members, and their families Family counseling for military related issues Bereavement counseling for families who experience an active duty death Military sexual trauma counseling and referral
VetCenter Services continued: Outreach and education including PDHRA, community events, etc. Substance abuse assessment and referral Employment assessment & referral VBA benefits explanation and referral Screening & referral for medical issues including TBI, depression, etc.

VITAL Mental Health Services Care Coordination services range from helping with stress and time management, to assessment and treatment of clinical conditions Care Coordination helping Veterans navigate the VA and other systems (i.e. VHA enrollment, VA benefits, or disability services on campus)
School Counseling Resources Most public and private IHLs have counseling centers on campus. Services vary from psychiatric assistance to mental health counseling Some schools offer services dedicated to Students with Disabilities Research your school’s available resources
