5 Veterans of Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, & New Dawn VA provides enhanced enrollment opportunity and five years of cost-free health care to veterans who served in a theater of combat operations, for any injury or illness associated with this service

6 Veterans of Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, & New Dawn The five year window of care starts over with each additional deployment to a theater of combat operations

7 Non-Service Related Issues Veterans who experience Non- Service related illness/injuries Post Deployment may be charged a co- pay at VA for treatment of these conditions i.e. flu, colds, auto accident

8 ` Cost free one time treatment of dental conditions for recently separated veterans who served for 90 days or more, apply within 180 days of separation, and DD214 indicates necessary dental care was not provided within 90 days of release or discharge (Line 17 Yes □ No ■) Dental Care

9 Medical Benefits Plan Screening Exams for: Depression, Substance Abuse, Military Sexual Trauma, Environmental Contaminants, Embedded Fragments, Depleted Uranium, TBI, PTSD Preventive Care Services Inpatient and Outpatient Treatment Prescription Services Women’s Health Program

10 Women Veteran Programs Women Veterans may receive  full continuum of medical benefits package  women’s family planning and birth control, gender- specific health care, e.g. hormone replacement therapy, breast and GYN care, maternity, limited infertility  Special considerations Each facility has a Women Veterans Program Manager Women’s Trauma Recovery Program (Palo Alto) inpatient post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and military sexual trauma (MST) treatment Women’s Benefits Coordinator available for disability benefits
