New for 2018 Vote Anywhere on Advance Poll Days Vote Anywhere in your Ward on Election Day City of Mississauga’s Campaign Contribution Rebate Program Online Financial Filing system

Vote Anywhere October 5 & 6: electors can vote at the Civic Centre October 13 & 14: electors can vote at one of 22 locations October 22: electors can vote at any location in their Ward

Campaign Contribution Rebate Program For eligible contributions to candidates running for municipal council Minimum contribution = $25 Eligible contributors receive a rebate of 25% up to $150 Candidates must enroll in the program and agree to the terms and conditions

Online Financial Filing System Candidates can manage their campaign finances online Candidates enrolled in the program must use the online financial filing system

Clerk’s Report on Contraventions The Clerk is required to review Financial Statements and report to the Election Campaign Finances Committee on possible contribution contraventions

Filing your Nomination Dates: May 1 to July 27, 2018 by 2pm Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (except on July 27, 2018 when Nominations must be filed by 2pm) Location: Clerk’s Office You must bring identification proving your qualifying address – you will be asked to sign off that you presented I.D.
