To submit a petition you should have completed at least 30 degree units and working to earn one of the following: AA degree / AS degree IGETC certification CSU certification Even if you do not wish to participate in graduation ceremonies you need to complete a petition to graduate

DEADLINE for Petitions to Graduate FALL 2013 – October 11th SPRING 2014 – February 15th SUMMER 2014 – July 11th You should petition AT LEAST one full semester before you plan to graduate.

If you completed any coursework from a school outside of the California Community College system AND you want to use a course toward a general education requirement you need to meet with a counselor and complete a “Pass Along” petition. If you completed your language proficiency in high school we must have an official high school transcript on file.
