Our SPOOKY SCIENCE LAB IS THIS FRIDAY! Are you ready?!?!?

Activity #1 Goblin GOO! What is it? The “goo” is actually a super cool mixture of water, Elmer’s glue or glue gel, and Borax laundry detergent.

How do I do it? Activity #1 Goblin GOO! Making “Goblin Goo” is easy! In one bowl, Mix 4 oz. of glue with 4 oz. of warm water and stir. TIP! Use your empty glue bottle as a measuring cup. Fill it up with water, shake, and pour it into your bowl!

Activity #1 Goblin GOO! Add food coloring if you want colored slime! Continue to stir.

You must STIR and POUR at the same time! Activity #1 Goblin GOO! SLOWLY Add 8 oz. of the Borax solution to the glue mixture. IMPORTANT! You must STIR and POUR at the same time!

Activity #1 Goblin GOO! The slime will form immediately. Stir as much as you can, and then “smoosh” it with your hands until it starts to get sticky.

There will be some water in the bowl. Just pour it out and Activity #1 Goblin GOO! DON’T WORRY!! There will be some water in the bowl. Just pour it out and keep smooshing!

The goo gets better the longer you “smoosh” it! Activity #1 Goblin GOO! The goo gets better the longer you “smoosh” it!

Activity #1 Goblin GOO! Put your goo in a baggie and store it in the refrigerator so it won’t mold and get nasty!

WARNINGS! and CLEAN UP!! LAB SINK— The water pressure in the lab sink is very powerful! 1. Do not remove the hose. 2. Do not turn it all the way up. 3. Work INSIDE the sink when you are filling your bottle and cleaning up.
