3. Safety Do not eat any dough or ingredients
Wear goggles when erupting a volcano
Wash hands
Clay is too salty but some may try to eat it
When setting up eruption, wear safety goggles
Always wash your hands after experiments

4. Salt Dough Tools Formula Large bowl Measuring cups Hands Flour Salt
Cooking oil
Water
First, get a large bowl, measuring cups and two strong hands
Next, we need to create the 'salt dough'. Mix 6 cups flour, 2 cups salt, 4 tablespoons cooking oil, and 2 cups of water in a large bowl. Work the ingredients with your hands until smooth and firm. Add more water to the mixture if needed.

6. Drying Time Let air dry Baking - Not recommended 1-2 days
Let dry about 1-2 days before making eruptions - works best

Formula
Fill the bottle ¾ with warm water
Add 2-4 drops red food coloring
Add 6 drops of the liquid detergent
Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda
Pour ½ cup vinegar into the bottle
Stand back after adding vinegar as the explosion will start

8. Clean-up Wait till eruption stops Empty liquid in sink Towel dry
Repair if needed
Wash hands
Let Dry 1-2 days
Clean up erupted material with paper towels and dump liquid in sink
It is advisable to let the volcano dry before using again
